Pokémon Monomyth documentation

A source map for setup instructions, community data and gameplay references—with the limits of each source kept visible.

There is no single official Pokémon Monomyth manual. Team Monomyth publishes operational instructions for the patch, supported emulators and Link Trading, while community references cover different pieces of the Pokédex and battle data. Start with the question you need answered, then use the source that actually covers it.

Is there official Pokémon Monomyth documentation?

Yes, but it is task-specific. The official Download page explains how to apply the patch and lists emulator guidance. The official Link Trading page documents a particular Celio Link and mGBA procedure. These pages are useful operational documentation; they are not a complete story walkthrough, mechanics spreadsheet or full Pokédex.

How should I read community data?

Check the publisher, game version and field being claimed. A starter entry can support a name, type or recorded level-up move without proving a boss matchup, encounter route or evolution trigger. Our starter data notes separate third-party records from independent gameplay testing.

Evidence boundary

The starter page currently uses DexDB’s labeled v1.0 records for stats, moves and evolution names. We have not independently measured damage, completed a full playthrough or verified the exact story route. Treat later claims as version-specific until the game itself confirms them.

What about a full walkthrough?

Our current setup checklist covers patching, first launch, starter planning and save backups. It does not claim a verified map route, gym order or complete story walkthrough. We will add those sections only when the route has been checked against a current game build.

Questions, answered

Where do I get the Pokémon Monomyth patch?

Use the official Team Monomyth Download page with a clean, legally obtained Pokémon Emerald ROM. This site does not host ROMs or prepatched game files.

Where can I find starter evolution levels?

Our starter evolution table lists the DexDB v1.0 records and marks them as third-party data that has not been independently gameplay-tested.

Is the Pokémon Monomyth Showdown server available?

The official Showdown page currently says Under Construction. Check Team Monomyth’s page for the current status.
